One from the May Photowalk Theme List for a change… it’s the back of an old barn, taken while we were in Barrie. I thought the padlock on the door was cute…

Lots of blue tones in these and I decided to ramp up the vibrance and go with it. I used a circular polarizer but did not have an effective angle for it in the full barn shot, as you can see from the uneven sky colour.

I haven’t had the time to get out for pictures this month but in desperation I did scout the yard one day. My husband restores old cars so his scrap heap can always be counted on for close-ups of some kind…

This would not be an oddity were this photo taken in a cemetary or along the highway…. however, I came across this small marker sitting directly behind a church and on the edge of the backlane which runs behind it. Struck me as an odd place to be.
I used one of Nichole Van’s B&W Presets – “Vintage Worn” to change it up a bit.

These are wooden finger puppets I’ve kept around because they are colourful and a little goofy… which makes me smile.

I like these old metal toys for some reason or other; not sure an Oreo Cookie with legs is the best example for scale but he’s kind of goofy as well!
