This would not be an oddity were this photo taken in a cemetary or along the highway…. however, I came across this small marker sitting directly behind a church and on the edge of the backlane which runs behind it. Struck me as an odd place to be.
I used one of Nichole Van’s B&W Presets – “Vintage Worn” to change it up a bit.
February 25, 2010 - 11:37 pm - Odd but sweet, the hydrangeas (plastic?) look in better condition than the peeling paint on the cross.
February 24, 2010 - 12:40 pm - And there were no words, nothing to indicate who was there? Very odd. Do like the processing, the colours are soft and gentle. That wall would make a good texture!
February 22, 2010 - 8:11 pm - What a weird find..almost creepy! I love the deep textures in this and the washed colors of the flowers...this is actually quite beautiful (and unique)!
